After sustaining a severe leg injury in August of 2015, NBA superstar Paul George was forced to spend some time off the basketball court. He used this time to pursue his other passion, music. George enlisted Haverstick Designs to transform two rooms in his home into a high-end Control Room and Vocal Booth. Since the studio was in George’s home, isolation was a key issue. Height was also an issue as the ceilings originally sloped to 67 inches - much too small for the 80-inch-tall Paul George! In order to properly isolate the studio and create enough space for George, the room was stripped to the studs and built with layers of isolation materials and interior acoustical treatment. Haverstick Designs partnered with TriPhase Technologies
to make Paul’s dream come to life. The studio was featured in Mix Magazine’s July 2015 issue.
